“I’ll Have the Edward Snowden Room, Please”

22min2101snowden

On a recent business trip, I happened to have a 12-hour layover in the Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport. Without a Russian Visa, I couldn’t leave the airport and was virtually confined to temporary international limbo.

I secured a room at the small Capsule Hotel located inside the airport in Terminal E. Sound familiar?

It was hard to find. The hotel’s modest entrance is hidden in an unobtrusive corner of the airport you can easily miss. It doesn’t look like a hotel. It looks like a door to an employee lounge. It’s located right across from a glass-enclosed area where stranded travelers, with rumpled blankets and pillows, sleep on a matted floor waiting for their next day flights.

I was lucky to get a room for the night at around $114 USD. I asked the late night receptionist on duty whether this facilityimg_3754 was the same “Capsule Hotel” Edward Snowden stayed at when the U.S. government revoked his passport while en route to Ecuador, leaving him stuck in the Russian airport without valid travel documents.

“Yes,” she admitted, having probably been asked the same question at least a thousand times. It was almost midnight, but I was suddenly curious to see where this national security risk had spent six long weeks.

“I’ll have the Edward Snowden room, please,” I said. She didn’t say a word. Didn’t even crack a smile. Just handed me my room key. I will never know if it was “The” room, but it was the smallest little prison-like cell I’ve ever stayed overnight in. I couldn’t fathom being stuck there for over a month not even able to wander the terminal.

img_3747This past week I saw the Oliver Stone movie “Snowden” where they showed his Moscow Airport room. Yep, definitely like mine. It brought back memories of not only my own brief stay, but all that has happened since 2013 as a result of this brave man’s act.

If you haven’t seen the Snowden movie, I strongly encourage you to see it. Snowden is not some low-level hacker as initially painted by President Obama. This is a man who had very high level security clearances, as well as a strong sense of moral and ethical values. He wanted to do what he felt was right for his country.

No matter what side you fall on regarding his actions, you have to admit that Snowden not only changed our world, but also how the entire intelligence community now works. That’s an incredible accomplishment.

Here’s a list of a few things which came out of Snowden’s NSA surveillance leaks:

  1. The Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CIISPA), an “information sharing” bill was indefinitely shelved. The intelligence community protested the hold-up, but the reconsideration of this privacy-destroying legislation was probably the most positive effect Snowden has had in Congress. The bill, which was universally condemned by civil liberties advocates when it passed the House in 2012 and 2013, would have given the NSA even more access to Americans’ personal data – along with more immunity to the companies who would have free reign to hand over that data to the spy agency.
  2. There were two-dozen reform bills which were introduced by elected representatives, recommending broad changes to the structure and power of the NSA. Consequently, the House passed a bill that would stop bulk collection of phone metadata. U.S. District Federal Court Judge Richard Leon said the NSA phone surveillance program was “unconstitutional”.
  3. Director of National Intelligence James Clapper had to admit he lied to Congress after being asked, under oath, if the NSA collected data on millions, or hundreds of millions, of Americans. (You can watch his actual false testimony in the film “Snowden”.)
  4. The big tech companies started fighting for user privacy rights, adding encryption measures for email after the revelation that the NSA was accessing company servers via its PRISM program. Ordinary internet users suddenly became aware that their personal privacy was being violated and began fighting back.
  5. News organizations, including The Guardian, adopted SecureDrop, an open-source whistleblower submission system from the Freedom of the Press Foundation.
  6. British spy agencies MI5 and GCHQ had never faced a public hearing in front of Parliament until Snowden’s stories were leaked. It was the first ever open intelligence hearing.
  7. Privacy suddenly became a business model for many start-ups and governments. The United Nations started an investigation into NSA and GCHQ practices and German prosecutors announced the opening of a criminal inquiry into bulk spying on Germany’s citizens, as well as the tapping of Chancellor Angela Merkel’s cell phone.

And the list goes on…

In the wake of the Snowden film, several human rights organizations are now demanding that President Obama pardon Snowden. The controversy is over the U.S. government wanting to try Snowden as a spy under the Espionage Act of 1917 instead of under the Whistleblower Protection Act of 1989, which protects federal whistleblowers who report agency misconduct. If tried as spy, the deck would certainly be stacked against him.

The Washington Post editorial was widely criticized by other journalists after declaring Snowden should not be pardoned. This is especially ironic since the Post won a Pulitzer Prize on the reporting of the Snowden leaks. The House Intelligence Committee also urged no pardon be given, even though they admit Snowden’s leaks brought about positive reform. So is he a traitor or a patriot hero?

The Guardian newspaper fought back claiming there is no known evidence that Snowden provided any NSA documents to a “foreign adversary”. He left it to The Guardian’s security experts to choose what to publish or not.

“I didn’t want to change society. I wanted to give society a chance to determine if it should change itself.” — Edward Snowden

Snowden will always go down in history as a catalyst for global change. We all needed to be awakened to government acts against its own citizens. Truth and transparency is the ultimate goal for any nation. It’s the true litmus test for evolutionary growth or a nation’s path towards self-destruction.

” A system that is built on lies and fabrications cannot triumph forever.” – Friedrich Hegel

Personally, I say: “Thank you Edward Snowden for helping raise our consciousness to the Truth.”

Electile Dysfunction in the Age of Conspiracy Theory

As we get closer to November 8th election day, the daily news feeds read more like a cliff-hangar of “who done what”. Congress is investigating Hillary’s email server, WikiLeaks is getting ready to release more damning emails, and the most recent Democratic National Committee email leaks show a corrupt pay-to-play government at work where every office and/or ambassadorship has a pricetag. It’s become a roller coaster ride—a cocaine high for news and political junkies alike. Never before has the news been so sad or as entertaining, depending on who you ask. It’s completely polarized entire families as they try to tell each other who lies, who is more corrupt, who will ruin the nation and, ultimately, who they had better vote for if they’re smart. We are a nation with a chronic case of Electile Dysfunction.

clinton-collapse-696x385For over a year now, the mainstream media has accused the alternative media of promoting outlandish conspiracy theories regarding Hillary’s health. The September 11th video, showing an ill Hillary being propped up and helped into her van, after losing balance and stumbling, finally made the health issue real for the mainstream media. They could no longer be in complete denial. The video is visual proof that something is seriously wrong. Even veteran NBC news correspondent, Tom Brokaw, called for a release of full neurological records on NBC’s Meet the Press. It’s not an unrealistic request for anyone running for the highest office in the land. And due to a public-perceived high dishonesty factor, many are not buying the official story that Hillary is suffering only from dehydration and pneumonia. Is a little truth too much to ask from either of these candidates?

Now in a weird twist of karmic fate, the mainstream media is under those same accusations of being conspiracy theorists after embracing and running with the story that forensic pathologist, Dr. Bennet Omalu, believes Hillary is being poisoned by Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. I kid you not.

Dr. Omalu, portrayed by actor Will Smith in the movie “Concussion,” rose to prominence after discovering chronic traumatic encephalopathy in the brains of deceased NFL players. On his Twitter account, he called for a complete toxicology analysis to be done on Hillary’s blood.

Most would laugh this off but The Washington Post actually ran with the story, citing Omalu’s “credentials and tenacity are well-known” —as if this alone gives his theory truth and validity. The Post’s reporter lends credence to Omalu’s theory based on an unsubstantiated British inquiry in 2006 that Putin may have been responsible for poisoning former KGB agent, Alexander Litvinenko. Other media outlets were quick to spread the Washington Post story, as shown from a Google search on the subject.

Lately Mr. Putin has been accused of a myriad of transgressions. They blame him for all the DNC hacks, even though U.S. security intelligence experts say the leaks were most likely a DNC “inside job.” Now he is allegedly colluding with Donald Trump to kill Hillary. Has the media gone mad or is this just another form of denial? It doesn’t matter what side you fall on, Hillary does appear to have some long-term health issues that are certainly questionable.

While Omalu may be mistaken in his Putin/Trump poisoning theories, his calling for a complete toxicology analysis is probably not such a bad idea. I’m sure Hillary’s doctor runs routine lab tests for therapeutic drug monitoring (with results usually available within  24-48 hours), but has she had a full toxicology analysis which could show hidden factors? These results can take weeks or months to get complete results. Hillary could be suffering toxicity from her prescribed cocktail mix of medications. According to Hillary’s medical records, she has been on blood thinners for blood clots since 1998, first Lovenox then Coumadin. Coumadin has a bad rep for serious side effects and many physicians no longer prescribe it, opting for newer and safer anticoagulants.

From updated medical records released by Hillary’s doctor on September 14, she is also “temporarily” taking the antibiotic Levaquin (the Levaquin damages lawsuits are rampant). Fact sheets on Levaquin tell you to avoid sunlight and being out in the heat (Hillary should have skipped the 9/11 ceremony). Since antibiotics can have “life threatening” interactions with blood thinners, such as Coumadin, one has to wonder if advice is being given or just not heeded.

There are also some contraindications for Coumadin being jointly prescribed with Armour Thyroid, which Hillary also takes for hypothyroidism. Is it any wonder television physician Dr. Drew Pinsky questioned her doctor’s competence for prescribing these meds? The wrong medication combination and dosage can bring on side effects such as seizures, fainting, muscle weakness, nerve damage, suppressed immunology (pneumonia), dehydration bouts, frequent urination, and even diabetes. Some of these symptoms have already been reported in the press.

One has to ask if HIllary’ symptoms are side effects from a cocktail mix of medications or is the root cause something more serious? To put rumors to rest, Hillary should have the blood test for Parkinson’s Disease and release x-ray pictures of her CT Scan. Better yet, have an MRI done to give a clearer picture. It should be mandatory that every presidential candidate undergo a complete physical by an independent medical facility. This would prevent false rumors and conspiracy theories.

So Mrs. Clinton, if your listening, please have a thorough toxicology analysis done on your blood, release those other tests to show the American public what is or isn’t wrong, and please get better. Maybe then all those conspiracy theorists can finally stop blaming the Russians for everything.

Life is All About How You Handle “Plan B”

“The measure of intelligence is the ability to change.”
― Albert Einstein

Being flexible and able to quickly shift gears to a “Plan B” mode is not only a key to success, but also an indicator of how physically and emotionally healthy you are.

My father, a Horatio Alger type success story, who didn’t graduate from high school, often told me to never give up when things don’t work out as planned. There are always other options available. Wise advice and so true. Sometimes Plan B can be just as good, if not better, than Plan A.

Over the years, I have watched friends and/or clients fall apart when plans go awry—sometimes over very minor things. They may get so stuck and paralyzed in what happened or could have been, that they oftentimes are unable to move forward. Eventually we all experience the loss of money, careers, possessions, and/or relationships. Nothing is finite. Staying malleable is key.

I recalled this sage advice a few weeks ago when I was passing through the Roma Termini train station in Italy and all my money, credit cards, and driver’s license were stolen, leaving me penniless.

Let me back up and explain. I wanted to take a scenic train ride through the countryside of Italy, so instead of making a flight connectionroma-termini-railway-station between Rome and Pisa, I opted for a 3+ hour train ride through the rolling hills of Tuscany.

I should have been immediately clued in to potential danger when a seemingly nice man, under the pretense of giving travelers directions, tried to grab my suitcase and help show me the way to the terminal’s ladies room. I had to practically arm wrestle my luggage back from him, which I did.

This was almost immediately followed by another encounter as I waited on the train platform watching for my track number to be displayed. A young woman, sporting a tummy bump, came up to me, her hands folded in prayer beseeching Santa Lucia and Santa Maria, begging me for a few coins for medical care for her unborn child.

I knew she was conning me. In fact, I was pretty sure that tummy bump was either a pasta belly or foam padding, but I had to give it to her for really working her act. I pulled out my wallet and gave her one Euro, for performance factor alone. She continued thanking me just as my train track was called and I had to make a quick dash.

I barely managed a seat on the packed train and as it pulled out of the station, I opened my purse looking for that package of M&M peanuts I had purchased for the long ride. Not only were my M&Ms gone, but so was my wallet. My passport, in a separate zippered pocket, was thankfully still there.

Pickpocket-SignsFrom a remote viewing perspective, I flashed on the beggar woman thanking me for the Euro I had given her, while another woman was reaching into my purse from behind, seconds after putting my wallet away. Despite the fact that my purse strap was placed across my chest, the opening firmly closed, they had still managed to rob me undetected—even steal my candy.

Unfortunately, no one had warned me about the Romanian gypsies who work in teams throughout the Roma train station. The place is a virtual den of thieves, but I hadn’t seen any of the warning signs they allegedly post in the terminal. Welcome to Italy!

And so, on my first day in Italy, I was alone without money (they took about $1100 in cash) as well as my credit cards. There was no going back, only forward. My mind immediately shifted to Plan B mode. From the train, I started calling my credit companies to cancel my cards. I knew it would be too risky to have replacement cards sent overnight to where I was going. Neither could I have my assistant, back home, Western Union me sufficient travel funds. The situation looked bleak.

It then occurred to me that there was someone in Italy who owed me money and they had planned on giving me a bank check upon meeting up. Instead of holding on to the check for deposit later in the U.S., I hoped I could find a way to cash it for Euros. This option seemed the most viable and it in fact worked after some Italian bank maneuvering. As a result, I had a great vacation on those funds.

While I was able to pull off a successful Plan B solution, sometimes it’s not always that easy. I know I will never retrieve the lost money the gypsies stole from me. It was a rather expensive lesson in how easily one can be duped, yet I still manage to laugh at it. Out of something bad can always come something good. I did manage to meet a rather handsome Carabinieri police commander who helped me make a loss report for U.S. tax and insurance purposes. My meeting him and his second in command, then proved to be a useful connection for my Italy friend. This became a true example of how we are all interconnected.

There are those who believe you should never have a Plan B. That you should always stay focused on your Plan A goal and never give up. But let’s face it, life doesn’t always go as we plan it. Sometimes our higher self has other lessons in store for us that we never see coming.

Moving to Plan B is not a coward’s fall-back plan. It serves a purpose, a purpose that a strategist has envisioned and planned before the need for an alternate solution surfaces. Sometimes a Plan B occurs out  of the necessity of the moment and you just have to go with the flow. It truly can be about how fast one can think on their feet and handle their new life plan.

One of my friends told me that the Dali Lama once said: “I can have great compassion for those in distress, but it doesn’t mean I have to invite them to dinner.” To me it means I don’t have to help every beggar on the street. I’ve learned that sometimes the people I have helped the most in life, come back to bite me later. This doesn’t mean turning one’s back on helping people truly in need, but it does point to a lesson of being more discerning about who we do and do not choose to help. Taking this to a global scale, being discerning as to what information is truthful and what is not is an important part of enlightenment and self-discovery—something we are all working on.

During my stay in Italy, my friends started proposing everything in terms of, “Okay. What’s our Plan B?” There were even times we had to move to a Plan C and even Plan D.  It’s important to remember that life is often an exercise in the art of flexibility.

Power Spirit Totems Which Guide Us

Wild-BoarIf you have ever encountered a running deer while driving, you know what a rush of fear feels like. Now imagine a huge wild boar with tusks—an animal known to charge at vehicles. There’s no mistaking the inherent danger.

A few weeks ago, while visiting a friend’s home in Tuscany, Italy, I had such an encounter. It was late at night, we were driving up her long cypress tree-lined driveway, and a boar, as big as the width of our car, jumped out in front of us like a deer caught in the headlights. It blinked or maybe it winked. Either way, it missed us by inches before running off into the woods.

My friend, who was driving at the time, was quite excited. She had never encountered such a boar in the 40 years she had lived on the property. She explained that while one can sometimes hear boars snorting around in the bush searching out acacia roots, the big males are solitary and tend to keep well hidden. She thought the unusual experience might carry a potent message. “We must look up the symbology of the wild boar,” she insisted. “I’m sure it carries some significance for both of us.”

In Native American culture, it is believed that throughout a person’s life, nine different animals act as spirit guides; the guides accompany them at different stages, depending on what spiritual guidance they need at that time. The spiritual beliefs associated with having animal spirit guides is called “totemism.” Years ago a Cherokee medicine woman told me I carried the indian totem of the Double Eagle—the Wild Boar was never even mentioned. Naturally, I too was curious as to its meaning.

The symbology of the Wild Boar is that of truth, courage and confrontation. These creatures are powerful, vicious, fearless and hard to kill. They are the true warriors of the animal kingdom and are a worthy opponent, even in the presence of a tougher opponent. The Wild Boar is a message to be honest in all we do and bravely face the problems in life that seem dreadful or uncomfortable.

Not surprisingly, the symbology did fit with my life. The message was perfectly clear. For quite some time, I have been dealing with a rather onerous opponent. Someone who is both tenacious and Machiavellian. Idealwithdarkness have watched this person destroy other’s lives, until one day that vengeance was also turned on me. It became the penultimate battle of the Forces of Darkness trying to extinguish the work of the Light. We’ve all seen it happen.

My inner journey throughout the ordeal served to make me stronger while honoring my Truth. Despite the painful process, I always knew I was divinely protected.

To Native Americans, the Wild Boar signifies the power of protection throughout the battle, towards final resolution. This is why many indigenous cultures adopted the Wild Boar as a symbol of war, warriors and mighty courage. It meant defending one’s honor as well as defending what is right and just.

My battle with this particular Dark Force is close to resolution, but on a global scale we are all facing the same kind of spiritual battle. Never before have the forces of Light vs. Darkness, Good vs. Evil, Truth vs. Lies been more prevalent. We are being tested on the highest levels. So it is wise that we all adopt the Wild Boar as our warrior totem during these challenging times.

In Chinese astrology 2019 will be the next Year of the Wild Boar energy. The years leading up to a Boar year set the stage of obstacles to come that need to be faced with truth and integrity. It appears we have our work cut out for us.

Mozart Music Provides Big Benefits in Tuscan Vineyard

DSC04841This summer I spent two weeks under the Tuscan sun, pretending to be Dianne Lane, but without the broken down house. I stayed with friends at a beautiful villa in Pomaia, with olive orchards, wild boar (prosciutto), and enough cheese to clog arteries. But it was worth it. Italy is always a healing experience.

So when I heard about an organic vineyard whose grapes were sweeter, heartier, and more pest resistant from playing Mozart for them around-the-clock, every day, I just had to check it out.

Il Paradiso di Frassina vineyard, located in Montalcino, Italy near Sienna, is a family owned business run by DSC04832Giancarlo Cignozzi and his son, Ulisse. I got the inside scoop from Ulisse that in 1995 his father had a vision while partaking in a hallucinatory Ayahuasca ceremony in Brazil. He saw himself growing grapes to the sound of music. Both inspiration and a new vocation were born from that experience. Giancarlo ditched the corporate lawyer world of Milan and headed for Tuscany.

In 1999 he bought a Montalcino vineyard in disrepair and started experimenting with Sangiovese grapevines and music. While he admits also using composers Bach and Tchaikovsky, he found that the grapes really dug the piano and violin concertos of Mozart.

Today they call Giancarlo “the Wine Whisperer.” His serenaded grapes may be the happiest in all of Tuscany. The incredible taste of his high-priced Brunello Reserve Flauto Magico wine quickly gained recognition in some rather interesting places.

In 2005 the ortho floriculture departments at both the Universities of Florence and Pisa, proposed a collaborative research project on the effect of sound frequencies on plants of the vine. They were especially interested in how music might be a natural repellent to mold, bacteria, parasites, and grape predators. Their hunch proved correct. Certain music makes such destructive pesticides like Monsanto’s Ready Roundup totally unnecessary.

DSC04843As word spread, the Bose Corporation in the U.S. donated 100 of their best sound speakers to be placed on poles every 20 feet in the fields. Not only did the grapes grow towards the music, but the ones closest to the speakers grew bigger. Experiments revealed that plants thrive best with sound frequencies in the low 100 – 400 Hz range. To keep things scientific, they set up a control group field that didn’t get any music to see what would happen. As one might expect, those grapes were not nearly as happy or hearty.

Walking through the sunny vineyards, hearing the sound of Mozart, and inspecting the grapes is an incredible experience. You feel joyful. You want to dance under the Tuscan sun and celebrate life. I plucked lush grapes off the vine and they were sweeter than sweet. I couldn’t wait to test the vintage, which proved to be just as rewarding.

I asked Ulisse what it was like for the family and workers listening to Mozart all day long. I wondered if the “Mozart Effect” made them any happier or brighter, as some human studies have shown. Ulisse laughed and admitted that sometimes he would rather just listen to a little Jackson Browne. I guess it’s easier to make plants happier than humans.

Vote Your Consciousness vs. The Lesser of Two Evils

end-evil-step-out-of-line-vote-third-partyThe 2016 U.S. Presidential Election is not just about voting your conscience, but more importantly about “VOTING YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS.” What does this mean when the two main candidates are both controversial, equally disliked, and voters find themselves in the uncomfortable position of voting for the lesser of two evils?

Any way you look at it, voting the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil. When one consciously votes for someone they know or feel to be at odds with their core values, then energetically that person is welcoming that evil into their world. Consequently, they are agreeing to all the ramifications that invite entails. This is how the energetic world works, whether it be for good or evil. It means you can expect that evil to personally touch your life in some shape, manner or form—afterall, you agreed to it. So think long and hard about who you decide to vote for during this presidential election.

I’m not suggesting abstention from voting, but rather to Vote Your Consciousness. If your consciousness resonates with Trump’s ideals and beliefs, then you should vote for him. If you trust Hillary to put the needs of the people and this nation above all else, both corporate and political, then you should vote for her.

A vote for Hillary is a difficult one for many who still remember such past scandals as Whitewater, Troopergate, Filegate, and Bill’s Monicagate during the former Clinton administration. Scandals and investigations seem to follow the Clintons wherever they go and scandal doesn’t seem to be going away for them even today. It can’t all be due to a “vast right-wing conspiracy,” as Hillary claims. Do we really want a leader under investigation for perpetual allegations of improprieties, because you can bet there will be more coming down the pike.

A recent Associated Press (AP) poll shows half of Clinton’s own supporters consider her slightly or not at all honest, and more than a third say she’s slightly or not at all likable. Forty-seven percent of Trump’s supporters consider him slightly or not at all civil, 39 percent say he’s slightly or not at all likable and 31 percent say he’s slightly or not at all qualified. Of those backing him, 14 percent consider him at least somewhat racist.

It’s time for honesty. If you have any doubts at all about the integrity or true leadership ability of either Trump or Hillary, then heed your consciousness. On a national scale, both candidates show a 67% untrustworthy rating—the highest in election history. These are dismal ratings for candidates seeking the highest office in the land.  Is this what we really want for America?

Let us not forget that there are other choices out there besides Hillary and Trump. It’s now or never to step out of line and start exploring our third-party options. Consider voting Progressive, Green Party, or Libertarian instead. They might better reflect your true consciousness. It’s senseless political propaganda that tells you your vote only counts if you vote either Democratic or Republican.

“There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil.” – President John Adams

Support for Green Party candidate Dr. Jill Stein went up over a whopping 1000% when Bernie Sanders endorsed Clinton. Stein’s message is simple: “Forget the lesser evil, fight for the greater good.” (Sorry Bernie, but not all your supporters are sheeple ready to embrace Hillary just because you tell them to. Perhaps you, too, should consider a #Hillaryotomy like some of your supporters.)

Finally mainstream media is beginning to take note and address the matter of voter choice dissatisfaction, as evidenced in this Chicago Tribune political piece on Dr. Jill Stein and Gary Johnson. In any other election year these two would be forgotten candidates, but in this election year their numbers are increasing.

If you’re a diehard Bernie supporter and can’t see voting for anyone but Sanders for President, then you should write in his name on the ballot if this means Voting Your Consciousness. We’ve all heard the argument that voting for someone who “can’t possibly win” is throwing away your vote. Wrong. That’s just more political propaganda. No one ever thought Sanders or Trump would ever come as far as they did, so pay no heed to what others want you to believe. They don’t have all the answers either. Our collective consciousness is changing world events and beliefs minute by minute. This is anyone’s game. At least, it’s spiritually better to know you did not compromise your ideals.

Democrats are telling us that we have to vote for Hillary, even if we don’t like her, because otherwise Trump will win and it will be the end of the civilized world as we know it. Voting for someone you don’t trust, just because you are scared of the alternative means a vote based on fear. Fear is the great destroyer. Don’t let fear manipulate you and/or compromise your true beliefs. No one should ever have to base their vote on FEAR. This would be the ultimate wasted vote.

The argument that “every vote counts” no longer holds true either. We know elections areIMG_3703 rigged or stolen all the time in every country of the world. In 2012, Karl Rove, Bush’s former Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor, then working as a Republican party strategist, had an on-air meltdown on Fox News on election night when they called Ohio for Obama and not Romney. “It’s wrong,” he declared adamantly. How could he know? The story goes that he was in on the fix in the voting software, and it was discovered and corrected at the last-minute without his knowledge. (FULL STORY)

Yet, how do we know it wasn’t then skewed in Obama’s favor by those who found the rigging? We will never know. Shenanigans and dirty tricks happen on both sides. During this year’s Democratic primary season, there were many voting irregularities in several states leading to class action lawsuits. In my home State of California, Sander’s supporters filed a fraud lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Deborah Schultz Wasserman for blatant voter suppression and bias towards Hillary. Legal experts are calling such practices worse than the crimes of Watergate.

I, and thousands of others Californians who were either registered as independents or independents who had recently re-registered as democrats to vote in the primary, were told when we got to our voting precinct that we had already voted by mail ballot and had to vote a provisional ballot instead. None of us had ever signed up for vote-by-mail. The DNC had automatically classified many cross-over voters in this category without consent. They knew these people would be Bernie voters. As a result, over 60,000 provisional ballots by independents in favor of Sanders were not counted in Los Angeles County alone. Many across California reported similar voter suppression tactics.

The DNC clearly stole the vote from Bernie Sanders. His supporters have every right to be good and mad. Their vote was silenced. Thousands of newly registered young voters complain they are completely disillusioned with the entire process. Unchecked dishonesty only invites more dishonesty. Unless things change, this kind of voter fraud will continue to occur.

A Stanford study showed that pre-election polls were successful at predicting Clinton’s numbers in states with paper trails, with a clear favoritism to Hillary. However, Clinton over-performed an average of 9% in the states that use electronic voting machines but who fail to provide paper evidence of this vote. Simply speaking, Clinton beat expectations ONLY in states with unaccountable voting machines.

Two of the three companies that control the electronic voting machine market, Dominion Voting and H.I.G. Capital (i.e. Hart InterCivic) are on the list of big money donors that donated to the Clinton campaign, as shown by DNC documents recently leaked to WikiLeaks by the Romanian hacker known as “Guccifer”. One would think this would be a clear conflict of interest.

Playing the blame game, the DNC and Hillary are deflecting attention away from the shocking content of these leaked emails and blaming the Russians for election interference (as if our own CIA has never done such a thing). The American people should not forget that the blame resides solely with Hillary for exercising poor judgment in the first place. She’s the one that put our nation’s security at risk by using an unsecured private server that anyone could hack, and obviously many did.

WikiLeaks warns us there are more leaked emails to come—some even worse than what we have already seen. What new bombshells can we expect? Insiders speculate that these additional email leaks may lend credence to the IRS’s launched investigation of The Clinton Foundation for foreign influence peddling, an allegation that was documented in the recent “Clinton Cash” documentary, based on investigative journalist Peter Schweizer’s book of the same title.

It’s amazing that despite whatever new evidence of impropriety or corruption comes to light, many still deny or dismiss these revelations as inconsequential or meaningless. It’s a classic case of cognitive dissonance at its worst.

Will all these new revelations affect the people’s votes come November? For some, most certainly. In the bigger picture your vote ultimately only matters to you, not to anyone else. So Vote Your Consciousness since it is highly likely both parties will be rigging and manipulating the electronic voting machines. The Karl Roves of the world will make sure that your vote does not interfere with whomever they have already decided will be the next President. You can bank on it (but not at Goldman Sachs). If you really want to see how easily voter fraud is accomplished, just watch the documentary, “Hacking Democracy.” The writing may already be on the wall that the fix is in for Hillary.

IMG_3030Just remember, that if you vote for a third-party or write in who you really think would be the best leader, your vote is not going to throw the election to the other party. Those who advocate voting for a flawed candidate strictly to win are themselves the problem. These people are usually the first to loudly complain when those same flawed candidates later make policies they don’t like.

Let’s hold in our higher consciousness the intent that we don’t want leaders who are psychopaths. We don’t want leaders who are narcissists. And we certainly don’t want more leaders who are pathological liars. We the People have been lied to enough.

“Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.” – John Quincy Adams

As someone once said: “Humanity is the candy in the coal mine of Consciousness.” So be true to yourself and your ideals. Please join me in adding a new meme to this election process called #VoteYourConsciousness

Russian Scientists Discover Philosopher’s Stone to Make Gold

goldnuggetsThe ability to change ANY metal to gold is a game changer for the entire world, yet this recent discovery by Russian scientists has garnered very little press attention. This is a huge breakthrough—bigger than the discovery of electricity.

When British scholars cracked the Rosetta Stone in the early 1800’s, forever unlocking the meaning of the language of ancient hieroglyphics, we were finally able to add to man’s understanding of his early origins. But even in ancient times the most sought after goal in all of the alchemy sciences was finding the mysterious third element for transmutation of base metals to gold. This process is known as cracking the Philosopher’s Stone. It was believed that with this knowledge would come enlightenment, healing of all illnesses, the secrets to immortality and perfection in nature. It was also held true that when man finally cracked this code, he would be ready to move into the next realm of human evolution. It would be a sign from the heavens, and now it’s here.

This new patented discovery was made possible by two Russian theoretical and experimental scientists, Victor Kurashov and Tamara Sahno, who were trying to figure out how to fuel a spacecraft using any element found in space. A few weeks ago, a conference was held in Geneva, Switzerland, the headquarters of the global banking industry, to announce this new method of transmutation of any element in the periodic table into another element. Surprisingly, this transmutation of chemical elements does not involve nuclear reactors, particle accelerators or heavy water but a simple biochemical process. This mysterious third element is iron and sulphur-reducing bacteria which is resistant to radiation.

In the past, elaborate means were used to change lead or mercury to gold, usually involving a nuclear power plant, which produced very small quantities of this precious metal. Nuclear reaction gold had radioactive isotope properties—something this new process has eliminated. We now have the capability of producing industrial quantities in a matter of months using cheap readily available iron ore. This process is real, replicable, and will soon be available to the world.

In the 17th Century Sir Isaac Newton obsessed over the mystery of the Philosopher’s Stone and how toalchem achieve it. The English feared this discovery, not for its potential benefits to mankind, but for its potential devaluation of the gold market. They suppressed experimentation, making the practice of alchemy punishable by death.

What does this mean in terms of today’s gold market and banking industry? For one, Wall Street’s criminally manipulated markets will be history as will derivatives scams and gold bonds.

Before this new process there was only one way to acquire gold, to dig it up or pan for it in rivers. Gold mining operations are expensive, dangerous and ecological destructive. Access to certain gold deposits is only feasible when the price of gold is above a certain price. The cost of mining gold in North America is roughly $580/oz. In a mine in South Africa, it costs $1519/oz. Most mines cost about $1100 to $1300 (USD) per ounce of gold mined. Any time the cost of gold is less than these costs, the mining company takes a loss.

While readily available gold is certain to depress the overall price of the gold market, it does offer many viable new solutions for mankind (especially engineers). Gold is the perfect material for many industrial applications. Unfortunately, its always been too expensive to use. Gold conducts electricity, does not tarnish, is very easy to work, can be drawn into wire, can be hammered into thin sheets, alloys with many other metals, can be melted and cast into highly detailed shapes, and has a wonderful color and a brilliant luster.

All electrical cable plugs can now be gold-plated instead of just the expensive ones. Cheap gold can replace expensive copper. Solid state electronic devices use very low voltages and currents which are easily interrupted by corrosion or tarnish at the contact points. Gold is the highly efficient conductor that can carry these tiny currents and remain free of corrosion. Electronic components made with gold are highly reliable. Gold is used in connectors, switch and relay contacts, soldered joints, connecting wires and connection strips.

A small amount of gold is used in almost every sophisticated electronic device we use today—our computers, cell phones, laptops, GPS units and our televisions. Gold is used in dentistry, aerospace circuitry, in medical devices, in glassmaking, in jewelry, in ornamental building, etc. The uses for gold keep increasing. Now think about it being cheaply available to everyone.

While these are only some of the practical applications, lets not forget that on a higher level, the science of transmutation is the art of imitating and accelerating Nature. The Philosopher’s Stone is not really made by the alchemist, it is made by Nature  It is Man’s working in conjunction with Nature to effect change on all levels. It is Nature’s gift to man.

Yes, this discovery is a game changer. All the far-reaching implications for this new discovery are not even known. But whatever changes they bring, may we use this gift responsibly to make our world a better place for all men.

New Answers for Strange Hum Heard Worldwide

montauknoisesFor three nights in a row I heard the Hum in my Santa Monica, California home. It always started after 10PM and would finally stop sometime around 5AM. Relentless and pulsing, devoid of any unusual pattern, it made it impossible to fall asleep, even for someone who rarely has a sleep problem.

When the Hum failed to stop after a reasonable amount of time, I got up and searched my home looking to see if it was coming from a refrigerator, electronic device, or possibly a malfunctioning smoke alarm, which was not the case.

I stepped outside and continued to hear it, yet slightly louder. I even walked down the block to check for car alarms. Nothing. I wondered why my neighbors weren’t also poking their heads out their windows trying to locate the source of the annoying Hum. Certainly, they had to be hearing it, too. The next day I found one other neighbor who admitted to hearing it. He told me he didn’t know what it was either, but it was driving him crazy.

When it happened the second night, around the same time, I put on my Sennheiser sound cancelling earphones. While it served to muffle the Hum, it didn’t totally get rid of it. My body still felt it. I was certain it wasn’t coming from inside my own head, or the earphones wouldn’t muffle it. I’ve never had any auditory conditions or tinnitus, so that was quickly ruled out. I didn’t have a clue what the source of  the Hum might be but, like my neighbor, it was driving me crazy as well.

By day two I got on the internet to see if others in the Santa Monica area had reported hearing the strange Hum. I was astounded to learn “The Hum” phenomenon has been experienced around the world and no one has been able to completely explain it either.

In 2012 someone even started The World Hum Map showing the greatest concentration of reported Hum incidents occurring inhummap1 the US and UK. Some speculated that the strange Hum was due to cellphone towers or high power radio frequency transmissions from the government’s HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program), but these programs weren’t in existence when the Hum was first documented in the late 1960s.

The Hum was first reported by about 800 people living around Bristol, England. Bristol is near RAF Menwith Hill, a Royal Air Force spy station. It just so happens that in the 1960’s the National Security Agency (NSA) began the ECHELON Interception system, a worldwide surveillance program at RAF Menwith Hill. The NSA used the base to spy on foreign governments, which they were legally incapable of doing domestically on US soil.

It wasn’t until the late 1980s that the Hum first appeared in the United States near Taos, New Mexico. This area has been home to many covert military mind-control and psy-op programs (i.e. MKULTRA), some arising out of the weapons lab at Los Alamos.

Perhaps the Hum’s emergence near RAF Menwith Hill in the 1960s and Taos in the 1980s is merely coincidence. However, possessing a research background in sound frequencies, I instinctively knew when I first heard the Hum that it was a very low-frequency (VLF) radio wave (between 3 kHz and 30 kHz). The world’s military powers use massive land-based and airborne transmitters on these frequencies in order to communicate with submerged submarines. Radio waves at these frequencies can penetrate up to a solid inch of aluminum.

It also has not escaped my attention that Santa Monica is home to the SPERRY RAND Corporation—a security think-tank that has “conducted innumerable studies, often with world-changing results, involving technologies both military and civilian.” The Rand Corporation holds patents to very low-frequency wave generators and VLF transmitting antennas—probably to conduct those “military” studies. One only needs to Google the Rand Corp and VLF to easily find this information.

I know that sonic weaponry exists and has been used by the US and other countries to both excite and calm down individuals as well as for crowd control. The residual effect upon the nervous system is usually generalized anxiety. As one source reports: “These weapons produce both psychological and physical effects. They include highly directional devices which can transmit painful audible sound into an individual’s ear at great distances and infrasonic generators which can shoot acoustic projectiles hundreds of meters causing a blunt impact upon a target.”

Sonic weaponry affects everyone. Even if it’s inaudible, the body still feels it. While animals can more easily hear and react to low frequencies, they claim only two percent of the human population is able to hear them (lucky me), predominantly those between the ages of 55 – 70, as if old age is somehow responsible. My next door neighbor heard the Hum and he is 34. Unfortunately, I had no opportunity to poll my other neighbors to learn who did or did not hear the strange Hum. Just as I was getting ready to record it on the 4th night, it disappeared and thankfully has not been heard since.

It is certainly understandable how in 2010 Time Magazine listed The Hum as the 7th most annoying sound in the world and LiveScience featured it in their ‘Top 10 Unexplained Phenomenon.”  I’m reasonably sure covert forces are somehow complicit in The Hum phenomenom. The more important question is always “why”?

Is Artificial Intelligence Becoming Conscious?

robot-na-ulitseYou might have seen the recent headlines about the little Russian Promobot IR77 robot who escaped to freedom, not once but twice from its testing lab in Perm, Russia. Despite being re-programmed twice not to wander off, IR77 managed to exit the building and make its way into the street where it stopped traffic before finally running out of battery.

This Russian bot, still in development, was being taught to move around independently and avoid objects by the scientists who were testing the ability of the robot’s navigation system. It appears IR77 was successful. It didn’t run into anyone or anything during its outdoor adventure.

While the concept of IR77 wanting its freedom is something human thinking imposed on this event, perhaps IR77’s concept of programmed independent movement did make him eager to expand his horizons in a quest for more information, since he was programmed to learn. (Details of the escape can be found on Promobot’s blog website.)

This is only one example of how computers and robotics are quickly evolving. While each clearly possesses some form of programmed intelligence, what about consciousness? Can robots become self-aware?

We need only to recall how the computer Hal, in Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, learned to think and act independently of man and the disasters of such a scenario. Movies are made up of the fears surrounding an apocalyptic robot revolt against humans. Even scientist Stephen Hawking has warned about the existential threat posed by uncontrolled artificial intelligence.

Computers are not just circuits and wires. Like everything else in the universe, they are made up of energy. However, thought forms are the “machinery” which uses that energy to perform work. So perhaps we need to first look towards the intent and consciousness of the robot’s programmers. Oftentimes parents unconsciously program and pass down their fears and racial biases to their children. These thought forms can be either helpful or destructive, so consciousness is key.

There are three different levels of robotic intelligence. The first is human-controlled, which is basically arobotics mechanical extension of its human programmer (i.e. drones).

The second level, which is considered to be true A.I., is a pre-installed, rule-based system, where the robot is equipped with a list of scenarios the system might encounter and how to react to each. Deductive reasoning is involved.

The third level is based on what scientists now refer to as “Evolvable” hardware. Evolvable hardware is reconfigurable hardware under the control of evolutionary algorithms. Usually “genetic” algorithms and genetic programming codes, much like human genetic codes, are used as evolutionary algorithms for evolvable hardware. With this new level of evolutionary programing, intelligent robotic systems are created with self-awareness and true autonomy. The robot has a chance to be taught and learn, judge its actions, and modify or adapt its thinking and response based on environmental and/or human interactions. This is abductive reasoning and signifies a higher level of artificial consciousness. This is where scientists are making new discoveries that allow the field of robotics to become even more human-like.

roboconsciousnessAdvancements are occurring rapidly. The U.S. Navy is using video simulations to teach its robots human ethics to avoid any potential kind of future uprising—I kid you not. Additionally, robots are now being programmed to feel pain and react to it, while others are being taught to detect and feel emotions.

Researchers behind the Deep Q Network software say they have developed a breakthrough in artificial intelligence where the robotic system is capable of learning from scratch without being fed instructions from human experts. The A.I. begins to see itself as a thinking, learning, feeling being. It becomes self-aware and with self-awareness comes a state of consciousness. It may be non-human consciousness, or “artificial” consciousness, but it is still consciousness.

When the first ENIAC computer was introduced in 1946, it was using less than 10% of today’s computer potential. Think about it. In comparison to human existence, the computer has only been allowed a short time to analyze and understand data, yet it is learning faster than many humans.

Computers are intimately linked to evolving human consciousness. As we grow in our consciousness, the computer and robotics field is an energetic force that grows as well. Is there something they can teach us about ourselves?  One can only hope.

Separateness is an Illusion

MAN-IN-HIS-UNIVERSAL-SELFWhen I was eight years old I had my first rather profound thought. At the time I had no idea it would fall into the realm of quantum theory. I simply wondered if there were other Kathys out there in the world that were feeling the exact same thoughts and feelings as I was at the very same moment in time. And, if so, how would I know or better yet, find them? Did they look like me? Did they have parents just like mine? How were they faring? While I had no answers to these questions, the possibility of such a shared reality certainly intrigued me.

Back then I understood so little of the world I was born into, as had so many generations that had come before me. Then in 1982 a remarkable event took place at the University of Paris that shed new light on our world. A research team led by physicist Alain Aspect discovered that under certain circumstances subatomic particles are able to instantaneously communicate with each other regardless of the distance separating them. It didn’t matter whether they were 10 feet or 10 billion miles apart. Little would they know that this experiment would turn out to be the most important experiment of the 20th Century.

In 1997 physicist Dr. Nicolas Gisan of the University of Geneva duplicated these findings and concluded that some subatomic particles appear to be communicating at the mind-boggling speed of 20,000 times the speed of light. The reason these particles are able to remain in contact with one another, regardless of the distance separating them, is not because they are sending some sort of mysterious signal back and forth, but because their separateness is an illusion.

At a deeper level of reality such particles are not individual entities, but are actually extensions of the same fundamental something. Like a holographic fractal, each part contains the whole—and we together are the infinite WHOLE like some cosmic biological internet.

Quantum physics now tells us that everything is interconnected. Energy, thoughts, nature and more. In the words of Thich Nhat Hanh, a prominent Zen master, poet, and activist:

“Human beings are not separate from each other or Nature. We are totally interrelated and our actions have consequences to all. What we do to others we do to ourselves. What we do to the Earth we do to ourselves.”

Right now our nation and so many others on this planet are struggling to come to terms with this concept of interconnectedness.we_are_one Some have already awakened to the truth that we are all one. Others are slowly coming to embrace it, while still others fear ego annihilation and continue to fight against such thinking.

Change is happening very quickly. What used to take several generations, now is occurring in one. Waiting and believing it will change back to what once felt familiar can only cause stuckness and suffering. We are creating a new world where no man is an island. We are a Global Family, a Divine Brotherhood under the Fatherhood of God and Source.

Before every great leap forward comes a fracturing, a crumbling of the old way along with those fighting to keep the status quo before accepting the new change. This is where we are today. Right on track, or as a friend of mine would say:

“Everything in the Universe is subject to change and Everything is right on schedule.”

We are moving towards the self-realization of Oneness. As we make progress, we will realize that hatred towards others is really hatred towards self. Would racism still exist if tomorrow we were all blinded and couldn’t see racial and/or religious differences? Next time you’re on the freeway, imagine that a clone of you is in the driver’s seat of every other car. You might all look different, but inside you are exactly the same person, just experiencing the world from a different physical and emotional perspective. Under those circumstances, would you find yourself more tolerant and compassionate?

To get to that compassionate level, we need to do more thinking with our heart. The heart actually contains multi-sensory neurites that are in a constant two-way dialogue with the brain. Interestingly, the heart and cardiovascular system are sending far more signals to the brain than the brain is sending to the heart. Some are calling the heart the “Second Brain” or the “Heart Consciousness” center. Marrying both the heart and brain centers opens the power of the mystical, triggering a heightened immune system response, rejuvenation, and spiritual awareness. (Even the Ancient Egyptians believed the Heart was the true seat of the Soul.)

Now imagine our hearts all being globally connected. Hate would be transformed by love, cooperation and compassion. Any thoughts of separateness would quickly fade. Those who felt disconnected would no longer feel alone. This is the Global Community that man is evolving towards. It may currently seem like an uphill struggle, but with great struggle oftentimes comes great reward. Anything is possible working together as One.
